Frances Houlas, devoted daughter of Angela “yaya” and Thomas Houhoulas of Samos Greece, beloved sister of Robert (Joan), the late Mary (Joe) Sheida, the late Margaret (Aldo) Graziosi, the late Peggy (Angelo) Savas, and the late Michael Houlas, passed away peacefully October 22 at age 89 after a brief illness. She took great joy in being an aunt, great aunt, great great aunt and even a great great great aunt to many. She was member of the Greek Orthodox Church, was proud of her Greek heritage and felt lucky to have visited the island of Samos, her family’s ancestral home. VISITATION Sunday 2PM-6PM at Catavolos Berry Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Rd., Trisagion Service 6PM; Funeral Service Monday 1PM at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 4548 Wallings Rd., please meet at church; Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery at later date.
