I just found out about Izzy and I’m so sorry. I just wanted you to know that I’m thinking about you and you are in my prayers. It was an absolute honor being just a small part of a very large group of doctors that took care of your amazing son/brother. No matter how sick someone is, we are never truly prepared to lose them. I’m just so glad you have your faith and family to help you through. May your happy memories give you comfort in this time. Izzy was so full of joy, humor and life. He handled his illness with such grace! We can only hope to be as graceful as he was in our own lives, no matter how long or short they are. I have some jokes for him and some funny stories to share, so I’ll just have to wait until we meet again

Izzy left me a little selfie surprise when he got a hold of my phone when it fell jumping in the trampoline.

Always loving towards everyone, especially animals.

Not the best quality picture but it carries great memories. I loved playing with Izzy, Elias, and my siblings on the trampoline in our backyard. Life got ahead of us, school, work, and responsibilities, and we slowly parted, but I'm glad we got to make memories with such an awesome, strong, and mature young man.

I remember Izzy being the “life of the party” at Youth Challenge. This photo was from the Overnight the Summer of 2023. Izzy had so much energy and all of the kids were drawn to his outgoing and friendly personality. We are so grateful to have known him and been a part of his life.

As a driver for Youth Challenge, I got to know Izzy this past summer. His smile and laughter at my dad jokes will be missed. I’m grateful to have met you Izzy.

I’m so sorry even though I didn’t know any of you my prayers are with you this picture and obituary just touched my heart ❤️ . I have a little girl also born in 2009 but my prayers are with you I can tell by his picture he was a beautiful soul a angel here on earth 🌍 and was taken to too soon.

Such a remarkable young man. I remember meeting him  when your family came to fellowship at Bethel Middleburg.  Who could forget that beautiful smile and positive attitude that would light up the room every time I saw him.

The Lord did the miraculous in his life.  He is present with the Lord. May this bring you comfort during this difficult time. My condolences to you and your family. Decansen en paz Israel.

This is one of my favorite memories. We went to a corn maze. The kids disappeared. I was looking for them, in a panic. I find Chito's wheelchair, with no Chito! I start to panic! Because I know that momma bear "Sandee" is going to be worried. When all of a sudden....out of the corn field,  pops Addison carrying Chito, on her back! 💜 We were all laughing so hard. I love this memory. We will cherish it, forever! 💜

Everyone that knew Little Izzy, could plainly see and experience  the hope, joy and , faith,  that he walked in and was overflowing with. He was a genuine example to emulate for each one he came in contact with. I am confident God had no problem telling him  "Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord."

Izzy’s aunt, Viviana Davila, always told us how much of a fighter he was.  Always positive in any circumstance.  Our deepest condolences.

Another Angel for Heaven's army... Izzy was an amazingly positive young man who rose to each challenge with courage and shone his light on all he came into contact with. 🩵🕊️😇🕊️🙏 He will be sorely missed. What a privilege to have this young in my third grade class during my last year of teaching.  He knew how to have fun.  While in the hospital, we would FaceTime.  Izzy loved to use the filter to change our faces.  I’m not sure who was cheering up whom.   
Izzy asked me to come to his house on my 65th birthday.  He gave me a delicious cupcake and a beautiful cross which hangs on my bedroom wall in the house in Florida.
I love you, Izzy.  Rest in the loving arms of Jesus.

Izzy was always smiling when I saw him at Messiah Lutheran School. He never sat out for a recess, he was always running and playing with his classmates. His smiles and grace and trust in God was always seen. 
Rest in peace now Izzy. Well done good and faithful servant.
