Peter J. Umek

He was born November 7, 1939 to late Frank and Mary Umek. He was the beloved husband for over 30 years to the late Marlene. He is survived by his two sisters; Mary (Ron) and Linda (Dennis). The loving father of Steve (Ellen) Umek, the late Keith Umek, Richard (Kimberly) Morris, Dean (Lorene) Morris, Roger (Cathy) Morris and Dale (Laura) Morris. Pete was the proud grandfather of the late Jason Morris, Ursula Tatem, Joey (Alice) Hill and Jenny Mason. Great grandfather of Wesley, Alexis, Kena, Luke, Ella, Lea, Gemma, Kaiden, Bentley, Austin and Cierra. Pete was also loved by his many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn and his brothers, Frank Jr. (Lucy), Bob (Jan) and David.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and his family.

A Memorial Visitation for Peter will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake, Ohio 44145, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
