I dated her briefly.. I really loved her. She inspired me to be myself. I wouldn't be me without her. I am sorry. I should have stayed. I'm sorry. 

I'm so sorry to hear about her passing. I don't have the words to provide you comfort or healing at this time, but I can tell you what a beautiful soul she was and the energy that she exuded. I'm happy to have had the pleasure to meet her and spend time with her.  My sincere condolences. 

Rukia was a very amazing and exciting person to be around . She seriously could make a bad day turn into the best day possible . She was the best person that could ever live . She stopped me from self harm and told me to never do it again . She was a motivational person and she had such an amazing personality . She had a soul that nobody could touch . Her words were different from others and she touched so many hearts . She was a real down to earth female . She truly was a hero in my book . I love you so much and it broke my heart to see R.I.P above and under your name baby girl . You make the world spin round . Rue , you will be seriously missed by so many and we love you so much . R.I.P beautiful , I’ll never forget you . 

To Rue's family, I am so sorry for your loss.  I had the pleasure of being one of Rue's high school English teachers. Even after she left school, she would stop by to say hello and we would have a chat about everything from nail color to job choices.  Rue always made me smile and I will  remember her kindness, grace, and humor.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I met Rue when she was a student in my school. She was a sweet and kind soul. Rest in Heaven!

I am sure Rue and her Grandpa Bemer are up in heaven getting reacquainted  again because he passed in 2000 and didn't get to know her. Knowing him he loves her to pieces and they are chatting up a storm.

Everytime i saw rue walking she would always stop and give me a hug. She didnt care if she was on her way to work, or with friends, she didnt even care if i was at work, she came in and would still give me a hug and talk to me for a minute. She would always try to boost your confidence, and always try to make your day better. Her hugs were soft and always welcoming. Her and her hugs will be dearly missed. 

I knew her before she transitioned at school. Always a lovely individual, and I was so happy when we met on the street, and she was rocking her new self.  It made me so happy. 

I am so sorry that she had such a short time to live in her true body. Transitioning is hard, and the challenges never seem to end. Just know that she would want you all to celebrate who you are. Always remember, you are loved. Even by those who simply passed through your life. 

I met Rue through some close friends and we kept bumping into eachother on the street in Lakewood. She always said hi with a beautiful smile. We got closer and closer this summer and she got me a job at Tuesday Morning. The last 6 weeks where Awsome  and Comforted eachother about our problems and we danced and did magic in the woods. We went on long walks to buy bottles of water drank a lot of tea and watching Outlander. We definitely had a soul connection. We even had the same shoe size. This beautiful person brought me out of my shell and helped me with things I never knew about. I am really going to miss her. I’m not use to not seeing her every day. I love you Rue. You are special and you’ll always be in my heart forever 

I am so sorry you have lost your beautiful  child.  My heart is with you.

Last year, Aubrey posted that it was Rukias birthday on Facebook and if you see her that day wish her a happy birthday.  I saw a pink haired beauty admiring my pink bike outside my  salon on Detroit that day ... I ran outside and hugged her and said happy birthday ! She was so surprised and happy 💓 I didn’t really know her but so glad we had that moment in time 💗

I never knew her well, but she was always happy and bubbly. We clicked, and she’d never hesitate to give me a hug and say “heeeyy dylaan” whenever I’d see her out. Was truly a kind soul. Rest easy, forever in my memory. 

I met Rukia when I started working at Tuesday Morning in January. We had a horrid manager to begin with, and the only reason I enjoyed work everyday, and continued working there was Rukia. She would always listen to music and dance with me, listened when I needed her to and was never judgemental. Eventually, we got a new (amazing) manager and I really saw her bloom. She was so outgoing, so unabashedly her, and truly the kindest soul. She was so giving and eccentric and open about who she was. She never let me feel alone and always made me laugh when I came in feeling down. There was never a day that I didn’t laugh when I was with her and it was a pleasure to call her my boss and friend. She never turned me away when I needed help and she opened up to me about herself and her life, and for someone who had struggled so much, she never once made others feel that way. She gave to everyone what the world never gave to her and I hope to be the same. I know if anyone deserves to be in heaven, it’s her. There will never be a day where I don’t miss her random Facebook videos or her laugh. One day, I pray to be half the person Rue was, and I hope that I’ll make her proud. 

Rue was very young when I met her. We knew there was something very special about her - she had an aura of magic about her, and thinking about her amazing personality and ability to light up a room with positivity still makes me smile. 
Sometimes we get lucky enough to have humans like her in our lives, but sadly, for not as long as we should. The sky above Lake Erie will be a bit brighter on those clear, cool nights ahead. Just look up, you’ll probably feel the warmth of her spirit, and the brightness of her soul on your face. Breathe, and remember. And always be kind in your life, to honor her.

I love you rue 💜 There’s soooo much to be said but I’m gonna keep it short and sweet. You were an AMAZING friend and your confidence is inspirational. Words can not express how much you will truly be missed. You are by far one of the most BEAUTIFUL souls I have met. I am GREATFUL that I had someone as amazing as you to call a friend although I wish we had waaaaay more time with you. Heaven is lucky to have gained such a beautiful angel. Rue was an amazing person ! I’ve know her for so long , my heart hurts that’s so gone so soon . She was so bright , happy & energetic every time I seen her . She always had me do her hair in school everyday ! I remember a teacher told us that the classroom wasn’t a hair salon but we didn’t care . since I moved from lakewood we haven’t talked since & it breaks my heart that I can’t talk to her one more time . I am so very sorry for your loss . Some mornings we would walk to school together , we would always cheat off of each other in class lol .  Rest in paradise rue 💔

I’ve known Rukia since 6th grade she was one of the sweetest most beautiful souls I knew. I always felt comfortable and like I could talk to her  and she was one of the most caring people I know. She was so inspiring and cheerful all the time. I will miss hanging out with her in the summer I would see her at the gas  station all the time and we would always talk. I will miss her very much it’s so heartbreaking. I love you the Rest Easy beauty  💕🙏💔

She was such a Beautiful, Loving, Forgiving soul. My bestfriend. My sister. I love you may you R.I.P and finally have the peace you deserve, although it came way too early.  You touched and changed everyone for the better. I love you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I wasn’t close with rue but I had a class with her a long time ago and she was always so sweet and open. Rue was never afraid to be who she was and didn’t care what anyone thought about her; she was always there to stand up for anyone who needed it. May she rest easy ❤️
