Grandpa Lynes was loved very much by all seven of his grandchildren! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our cool setup...the "Hotor" and our camper. Happiest times we had with family was at various campgrounds. The food, swimming, games, political debates around the campfire, kids endlessly slamming our camper doors, swimming in a cotton filled pool in Sandusky, the "Hotor" needing serviced in PA, and every trip in between. We were beyond fortunate to be able to spend the quality family time we did with our kids and their grandparents. I loved it when Bill came to see me at Brio to say hello a few years ago and I can still hear him laughing at all the funny inside jokes we had.  RIP Bill...you were dearly loved and will be forever missed.  <3

One of the many times Jim and I extended our home to our family so they could create memories with their grandchildren. I always made sure to have Grandpa's favorite foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner on hand. Can't have breakfast without bacon and danish!  :-)

This is saying goodbye from a visit down to Florida when Grandma Lyn was going through cancer treatment. I remember Grandpa being in good spirits when we were there and teasing Lyn about looking like "Mr. Clean" to which she teased right back. Despite the situation they found themselves in, they kept humor in their lives and made space to support each other. Something I will remember him for.

Charley, Bradley and Nicholas took a road-trip to Florida to visit Grandpa Lynes!!  Bill loved doing puzzles and thoroughly enjoyed having his son and grandsons spend time with him!!

Charley and his dad shared a passionate love of sports, especially baseball!!  Charley and his dad enjoyed going to games in Cleveland especially when the Cardinals were in town!!  Bill played basketball in college as a freshman at Case Institute of Technology (Cleveland, Ohio) where he earned a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.   He loved his boys playing little league baseball.  Bill was Charley’s number one fan when Charley played catcher and second baseman for the Aquilla Buccaneers outside of Chardon, Ohio.

Bailey surprised Grandpa with a visit after running a 5K in Medina, Ohio!  He was thrilled to see his granddaughter!!

Bill loved Veal  Parmesan!!  This was an especially cold Ohio winter night and he had a craving so Charley bundled his dad up and loaded him into his blue Mazda 3!!  Charley would open the sunroof and Bill would use the opening as a hand hold to get his balance when he stood up and transferred from his wheelchair to the car.  It worked perfectly!!  Bill greatly enjoyed going to restaurants and being with his boys and their families!!

On December 21, 2001 Bill filled out this favorites survey that we added to our album of family and friends surveys!  I remember asking him about his favorite dessert and he said his mom made THE BEST banana cream pie and he had not found another as delicious as hers!

Bill loved his family!!  I will never forget how he had the natural ability to make me feel instantly a part of his family.  Bill genuinely and openly expressed that he cared deeply about me as his youngest son’s wife.  He always thanked me for his beautiful grandchildren:  Bailey, Bradley and Nicholas.  Bill made me feel like I mattered and I will forever treasure my memories with him!❤️

Bill LOVED  his red birds and baseball!  Charley and I found an extra long and super soft Cardinals blanket for him!  When we put it on him, he said he was never taking it off!  Bill always said things that made others feel happy and good!❤️

Charley loved bringing his little grill to his dad’s place and grilling him a cheeseburger on the patio!!  They smelled soo good, the staff opened a window and yelled down that they wanted one too!  Bill had the best smile and that day he smiled a lot!!

It was the first year of interleague play and the Cardinals were playing the Indians at Jacobs Field ... We all got tickets and sat in the bleachers under the big Budweiser sign scoreboard for batting practice of Mark McGwire the year him and Sosa were pursuing the home run record. 
Here comes the first pitch .... Bam! The first ball zooms over our heads and smacks into the w on Budweiser ... The ball bounces down in falls right in front of us.  A bunch more happened for the batting practice it was awesome and a really great memory with Dad and brothers. I'm not sure but I think my little brother Charley still has the ball.
