Dennis Tomas was born July 19, 1950 in Illinois to Peter and Marion Tomas. To Dennis, his family, dogs, and home were the most important aspects of his life, especially his four grandchildren. A perfect day for him would include having all of his family and dogs together with him at a dog show. He took great joy in showing his champion boxer dogs and breeding them. His dream came true when he started his kennel over 19 years ago. He was so proud of all the boxers his Anden Boxer kennel produced. He was active in the Advertising business community, successfully managing his own business for 39 years.
Dennis always had a unique and wonderful sense of humor. Laughter always came easily when he was around, especially when he was with his grandchildren, and even more so when his beloved dogs were up to their funny antics.
Dennis passed away at the age of 70 on September 4, 2020. Dennis is survived by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Sheila Tomas; his loving sons, Michael Tomas (Kaye) and Patrick Tomas; and his beloved grandchildren, Kate Tomas, Ariel Tomas, Noelle Fults, and their mother Ellen Fults and Kaden Tomas. His niece Samantha Tehrani and nephew Jason Tomas. Dennis lived his life to the fullest and was always thankful for each new day and the loved ones in his life. Dennis’s kindness, his perpetually optimistic outlook in life, his constant and devoted love for his family, and his infectious smile will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
