

Digna was born on August 2nd, 1953, to Eligio and Juanita Quintos in San Antonio, Zambales, Philippines. After graduating from T.R. Yangco Educational Institute in 1970, she went on to Centro Escolar University where she graduated with a B.S. in Psychology.
Her first job after graduating was a Secretary to the Vice President of Republic Bank in Escolta, Manila. She then went on to work for the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLTD).
In her younger days, she enjoyed volunteering at a local Monestary where she assisted nuns in cleaning and doing laundry.
In 1985, she met her husband, Jun, and they married in 1986. In 1987, they moved to San Diego where Jun was stationed. In 1988, their daughter, Leanne, was born. In January 1991, they were stationed in Yokosuka Japan. The following year, 1992, their son, Jonathanne, was born. When Jun retired in 1994, they moved to Oxnard, CA where most of Digna’s family resided. From 1994 to present, they remain resided in Oxnard.
During Digna’s life in Oxnard, she worked at the CBC Federal Credit Union as a Bank Teller for over 15 years and retired in 2017. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Myles, cleaning, cooking, talking on the phone with her sisters, nieces/nephews, and friends. She also enjoyed watching her favorite Tagalog teleserye’s, sports, singing shows, and gameshows with her husband. She enjoyed taking walks at the beach and shopping for home décor.
Digna is survived by her husband, Jun, of 36 years, as well as her children Leanne (Reagan), Jonathanne (Kimchi), Stepson Jay (Annie), and grandson, Myles; Siblings- Elenita (Gilbert), Salve (Jojo), Beulah (Sonny), Dante (Linda), nieces, nephews, and extended grandchildren.
Digna was known for her very kind and warm personality, her sweet laugh, and her beautiful smile. She was full of life. She was a devout catholic and a faithful servant to the Lord. She will be greatly missed but her memories will live on forever.
