She was born during the Depression on November 21, 1933, the second of six children from Agnes Viola Berg and Stanley George Webster in Denver, Colorado. She grew up some years in the Colorado Christian Home, attended University of Colorado Boulder for one year and then graduated from University of Washington with biology and teaching degrees, moving to Bellingham, Washington, where she taught high school. She then attended Stanford University on a full scholarship, gaining her Registered Physical Therapy degree.
She worked as a physical therapist with Arnold Isaacs while also working as a cocktail waitress at Castaway restaurant in Burbank for ten years, building Edgewater Physical Therapy into National Therapy Associates, the largest private practice physical therapy company in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s. Geri and her children moved to Westlake Village in 1974. She lived her life in southern California, her dream since she was a child. She and Arnold and their families traveled the world, making connections with people and providing care to many. She was adventurous and she and Arnold were eventually married in India in view of the Taj Majal in 1988.
Geri was a woman of deep faith and love for her family and friends. She volunteered at church and was full of grace. She was beautiful, classy, enjoying theater, sunsets, the ocean, birdsongs and flowers. She moved from Westlake Village in 2019 to the Reserve of Thousand Oaks, and then locally until she departed this earth.
Her services will be June 23, 2025, at 10:30 am at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Cemetery in Westlake Village, followed by a Memorial service at United Methodist Church of Westlake Village at 12:00 noon. All are welcome. L’chaim!
