Hal will live on in our hearts as he did in our lives, as a gregarious curmudgeon with a flawless sense of style. Hal is remembered for his effortlessly intoxicating smile, charm and wit and is simultaneously remembered for his need to be overtly honest to everyone he knew, just met, or stopped on the street. His unique character will be fondly remembered by his wife Linda, his 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He will also be remembered for his many years of service with the “San Diego Nice Guys” – A San Diego Charity that operates with the mission of “Offering a hand-up, not a hand-out” something Hal himself believed in very strongly.
