Harry was born on Jan 9, 1933 in East McKeesport, PA. He graduated in 1954 from Carnegie Tech in Pittsburgh with a BS in Electrical Engineering; later he earned his MSEE at Drexel University in Philadelphia. After graduation from Carnegie Tech, he married his wife, Rose Marie, and they moved to Baltimore, MD, where they started a family and Harry began his career in the aerospace and microwave industry.
He started at the Martin Company in Baltimore, where he worked on antenna design. Later he moved to an offshoot company called Bunker-Ramo, which had an office in Southern California. After several cross-country transfers between Maryland and California, Harry and his family settled in Thousand Oaks, CA in 1971.
Harry and Rose Marie enjoyed entertaining and spending time with their family and friends. He leaves behind his children, Karen (Kevin) Davidson, Harry (Laura) May, Laura (Michael) Webb, Steve (Jennifer) May, and Dan (Susy) May, along with his grandchildren and a great-grandson. He is also survived by his siblings, Jean Long, Bill (Ruth) May, Joan (Michael) Bell, and Roy May.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie, his brother, Don May, and his parents, Harry C. and Florence May.
