Jim later worked for Simplex Time Recorders/Fire Alarms for seven years in the late eighties in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jim and Mary Lou moved back down to Southern California in 1993.
Jim was very devoted to his family and was a master at the barbeque and would always share his knowledge with everyone. With his easy-going personality and dry wit, he was instantly loved by all who met him for the first time. Jim was an avid sports fan and he enjoyed bowling, football, hockey, and golf. Jim loved traveling and seeing the great outdoors. He was also passionate about airplanes and loved old classic movies. He will be missed very much and will always be in our hearts.

Jim is survived by his children, Lou Ann Lowers of Newbury Park, James, Jr. of Ventura, and Maria Coniglio of San Jose, CA, sister Joyce Coniglio of Colorado, and grandchildren Allison Poe and Michael James Coniglio, II.
