Josef Snett was born on July 15, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Irving Snett and Betty Cohen. Joe, as everyone knew him, graduated Lane Tech High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy before settling in Southern California in 1953. As a trained lithographer, Joe looked to expand his horizons and entered the brokerage business in 1959. While times and companies changed, Joe remained steadfast in his 41 years in the business, cheerfully serving his clients with integrity, gratitude, and an unending commitment to creating opportunity for his clients and their families.
Joe approached all pursuits with boundless optimism and creativity, and always saw success on the horizon. He was a true friend, generous with all who knew him. As a sports coach, Joe enthusiastically guided young people, leaving a positive imprint along the way. Most of all, Joe cherished his family. A loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, he was ever caring, engaged and present, beside his beloved wife Betty's side through all of life's peaks and valleys, and there as a trusted mentor and support to his entire family.
Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
