I am so sorry to have read about Kerry's passing.  Kerry and I went to kindergarten together.  We would walk home together after school as we lived a few houses apart from each other.  I remember him vividly as he was a very sweet little boy.  May he rest in peace

I just discovered that Kerry left us.
I knew Kerry well for 3 short years when we were both in college and working together one summer for the Suffolk Sun.
Our lives were soon to head in different directions but the fond memories of our early lives will always be with me.

I found out last night that Kerry passed away.  I am heartbroken.  

In my many years of buying clothing for national retail stores, rarely did I come across an individual like Kerry.  He was kind, compassionate, caring, honest and had the best smile in the garment industry.  He was truly one of the "good guys".

I will always remember Kerry with a smile.

I’ve known Mr. Kerry since I started working with the company - Venice Investments.  We always have these short meetings wherein we say Hi, Hello and Goodbye along the hallway.  Every time I see him, I can always feel his humbleness, his passion, his thoughtfulness.  His smile and calmness will forever be in my thoughts.

Reading all of the comments about Kerry’s kindness and thoughtfulness from his employees, I can truly say as a friend I’ve  experienced the same. 
He always had a radiant smile and was a great source for wine! Spending holidays with the Jolna family was a special treat.
Hally always made sure everyone was included. Chad Gad Ya was sung vigorously over Passover, including masks! He will be missed so much. My heartfelt condolences to Hally, Kyley, Kasey, Brian and Riley…

Words cannot convey how deep my concondolences go to all of you.  I just found out this shocking news through a post of Steven’s and so regret that I never knew what was going on in all of your lives.

Mr Kerry was a great person, friend boss, I only work with hi. For 4 years and 1/2 it was a pleasure working for him every morning I will see him come in with alway a smile that was Mr Kerry every Morning , and the last  day that he when to the office he told me that he was going to be absent for a few month and I told him don’t worry your plants will be taking care so when you return they will still be green and beautiful 😪 but in sure he will still see them from above you will be miss.

Kerry & I were basement brothers growing up in Plainview, Long Island. He was always the older brother who I admired and sought to emulate. Some images make me smile...

How very sorry I am that a conflict with our grandson’s college graduation will keep us from being with you to say goodbye to my cousin, Kerry.  Our mothers were sisters and when my Aunt Rita died suddenly leaving two young children, Kerry and his sister, Gale moved in to our home for a short while.  Happiness came again when Uncle Hank married Edith and a beautiful blended family was was created.  Separated by two different coasts, i only saw Kerry at at momentous family functions and was delighted by his curiosity about the first chapter of his life.  My heart goes out to the entire family at this very sad time.  May Kerry’s life be a blessing to all fortunate enough to know him.

Kerry was not just a boss, he was like a father figure, a friend, a mentor, a man of wisdom and kindness. He had a heart that was pure and full of love. He would listen and give kind advise. He had laugh that would make you smile (warm and fuzzy). He had a love for people that will never be forgotten.

He had a love for his beautiful wife Hally and his two beautiful daughters that was priceless. I would sit in his office and they would walk in and his face would just gleam and his eyes would sparkle with love when he saw them.

I will miss seeing you coming in and stopping by my office with you bag on your shoulder and a warm smile saying "Hello There!" 

You will be in my heart for ever. I will missing you every day.

I am sorry I cannot be at the funeral on such short notice, living in Baltimore.  As a first cousin of Kerry, I remember all the good times we shared growing up, spending weeks at his home on Long Island. From a distance I’ve seen how much Kerry achieved in his lifetime. I am so sorry he is gone and express my condolences to his wife, children and siblings

A memory I will always treasure that stands out was during my retirement.  I watched the video couple of times and he was so alive and happy. I will never forget how he expressed his appreciation for all the hardwork, from zero to where they are 12 years I was with them. I felt the sincerity to every word he expressed... "For 12 years you've been our financial wizzard  and spiritual leader of all of our events."  How he joked about the post that I left open as a "spiritual adviser" for which he said there is no pay.  Thankful that I was given such privilege to make known my faith even on such occasions.

Kerry ensured that the event was not just a party, but a celebration that showed just how deeply he valued the time I spent working with him. It was a testament to his character, to his appreciation of others, and to his belief that every person’s contributions, no matter how big or small, should be recognized and honored. As I watched the videos and looked at the photographs from that day, I remember feeling truly seen, truly appreciated—a rare gift that I will carry with me forever. It was more than a retirement party; it was a gesture of gratitude that spoke to his core belief in making others feel valued.

I wished you could still hear how I am truly grateful and blessed having the privilege of working with you.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I love you, Sir.

Kerry had a big heart, compassionate and easily empathize with people.  He never turned down an opportunity to help and never missed one, as far as I am concerned.  He quickly responds and never tarry. He treated everyone with equal respect. No one was ever beneath him, was ever overlooked. Whether it was a kind word, a helping hand, or just a listening ear, he gave freely, because he understood that sometimes the simplest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.  It wasn’t just his generosity, but the authenticity of his spirit. There was a purity to his heart that was unmistakable. You didn’t just feel his kindness—you felt his love. He was never too busy to listen to your concern or offer a moment of understanding. His quick response to the needs of others wasn’t out of obligation, but out of genuine concern and a deep-rooted belief that we are all interconnected, and that we needed each other.

This was how Kerry was to me.  He was not just my employer, he was a Friend and a Big Brother. I take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on through the countless lives he touched. The love, kindness, and selflessness he gave to each of us is a gift we carry with us forever. 

I will always hold his memory in my heart, that once in my life I had an opportunity to meet a man named Kerry Jolna.  I love you Sir and will surely miss you....  Joy
