She was a retired high school history teacher, who never lost her love of learning. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her friends and grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters, Linda Gall, Lynn Dufner, Judy Meade, and Patricia Brown, and one son, Kenneth Lamorta. She is also survived by nine beautiful grandchildren, and two great grandsons. She is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Lamorta, and her son, George Valentino.
Visitation is Monday, November 19, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Oaks at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Mortuary. Services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Padre Serra Catholic Church in Camarillo. Burial will be at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park.
