Penelope Marie Dinsmore

1948-2023

Penelope, better known by all as Penny, was born and raised in Ventura, attended both Ventura High School and Ventura College. The majority of her working career was 30 years at the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company. She enjoyed worship with her many friends at Ventura Jubilee Fellowship,

On Thursday, March 2nd at 1:43 pm Penny passed gently into the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at her home in Ventura. Her departure followed a 19 year battle with Multiple Myeloma… end stage renal failure requiring Dialysis every Monday, Wednesday & Friday for the past 4 years… and finally Pulmonary Fibrosis, requiring oxygen 24/7, for the past two years, requiring a great deal of effort on her part for her every breath.

At her side was her husband Bob, daughter Karen and granddaughter Julia. She is also survived by her Sister Pam in Georgia, Son-in-Law Rob in Moorpark, Granddaughter Amanda in Denver, Grandson Mike in Portland and Great Grandson Marco also in Portland.

A Celebration of Her Life ceremony is being planned at her church, Ventura Jubilee Fellowship, for Thursday, March 23rd at 2:00PM.
