Robin Noel Rousselet

It is with profound sadness we announce that Robin Noel Rousselet has passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 due to sudden cardiac arrest. Robin was born on April 12, 1957 in Hollywood, California. He was a loving husband, father and great friend to all who knew him.

Robin grew up in the Hollywood Hills where he received his early education. He attended California State University, Northridge (CSUN) where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He later went on to earn three master’s degrees - one in Business Administration from the Anderson Graduate School of Management (UCLA), one in Accountancy (CSUN) and one in Taxation (CSUN).

Robin met his wife, Eda, when they both worked for the accounting firm Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (now known as Deloitte & Touche) and were married on January 8, 1983. Soon after, Robin was hired to be the Controller for three subsidiaries of Carlsberg Corporation before being hired as the Controller and then becoming Chief Financial Officer of The Voit Companies where he spent 22 years. He also served on various boards and has received many accolades throughout the years.

Robin retired at 50 and spent nine months golfing and snowboarding. He then felt the need to share his wealth of knowledge by becoming an adjunct professor at CSUN, Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount. After a time, Robin totally retired, although he never wavered when asked to help others.

Robin spent most of his life living in Woodland Hills (30 years), Mammoth and La Quinta. The last two years were spent living Thousand Oaks and La Quinta. He enjoyed golfing, snowboarding, riding bicycles and playing guitar.

Robin is survived by Eda, their two beautiful children Skyler and Kendra as well as his beloved mother, Lucile and three brothers Andre, Rene and Monte.

Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date (to be determined) at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks in Agoura, California. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart Foundation
