Your smile would light up every room you walked into. Your unselfishness was felt by all of the people you gave a helping hand to. You will be deeply missed. You will forever live through all of us who will keep your memory alive.  Rest In Peace WE LOVE YOU!!

It is a rare thing to know a person like Emylie. I wouldn't describe many people to be like her-- a person of virtue and absolute compassion. When I first started my job on the first floor, Emylie was the first to laugh with me, the first to feed me, the first to give me a present. When learning about my struggles as a transgender person, she shed tears. We've hugged, we've cried but most importantly, we've shared so much laughter. Emylie was an EXCELLENT human being. I am so glad I got to know her. In my imagination, she glides through rainbow skies of threads of glass and meets at the foot of a great tree to be embraced by the many who came before her. You were loved Emylie and you will be missed beyond reason and word. Thank you for enriching my life. 

Emylie receiving recognition at the Guardian Scholars graduation event on Friday, May 19, 2023.  She has a pure light that she shared with all. She is so loved and will be so missed. There are no words to express the depth of lost we are all experiencing. I love you and may your son and Dom and family feel peace.
