Julie was always very kind and studied hard.  We were on the same swim team back at Rancho Alamitos and we were the outliers back then because all the other cool kids did other sports and not swim.   But Julie didn’t mind , I remember she would put in the work of lap after lap while others joked.  

She will be missed and I’m sorry we couldn’t catch up more in life.

Julie, I did not know you had passed. We haven’t talked since our Forever 21 days, but I had a dream about you and wondered how you were. My heart is so sad because you were one of the good ones. May your memory always be a blessing to all of us.

Thank you for being a light and source of encouragement for me when while I worked with you at Beacon. Your smile and energy made every day easier for me. God bless you and your family. You will be missed but I know your love will still surround us all.

A very special and amazing human being.  She cared and served those less fortunate.  Her servant heart was a testament to always doing the right thing.  May her memory be eternal.

My dear Julie,
I was just wondering about you and thinking about being in contact with you, we hadn't been on contact in years. It shocked me when I got the message late last night that you were no longer here with us. Thinking about the little origami gifts you would leave on my desk at work and how you always had chocolate and Vietnamese coffee packets for me brought tears to my eyes as I reminisced on how much of a sweetheart you were. My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time. I pray that we meet again in the Kingdom of Heaven 🙏.

This was Halloween 2018 at Beacon. The team, ASO, had just moved to a new office location and, despite being spread out all through the suite, we remained a cohesive unit. “Julie Bean” (as I called her) was the heart of our team. ASO was never the same when she left Beacon in the summer of 2020… and this world is now never the same without her sweet, quirky presence.

Julie, I miss you, my friend. I miss our long talks at work about movies, random psychological topics, and food. Thank you for being such a kind and supportive Team Lead at Beacon. I can’t believe you are gone. I know you and Mr. “Soj” (as I called him for short) are together and making each other smile.
