Thu Lucy Dao, a cherished and gentle soul, passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on August 30, 1960, Thu was known for her resilient spirit, hard-working nature, and kind-hearted demeanor. She was a resident of Torrance, California.
A series of services to honor Thu's life will be held at Peek Funeral Home, located at 7801 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States. The Commencement of Mourning Rite will take place on January 20, 2026, from 8:30 am to 9:00 am.
Buddhist Chanting and Meditation will take place in Chapel #5 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am.
Following this, Visitation will be held in Chapel #5 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a specific time for eulogies between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
The day will conclude with a cremation service at Peek Family Crematory Room 11 from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
Thu Lucy Dao will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
