2022 Acoustics Christmas Luncheon.   Great turnout and first major workplace gathering after pandemic is over.

I had a privilege of knowing Trung for 17 years and working very closely with him for over 10 years on two different projects.  We spent countless hours working together side by side including hundreds of evenings and weekends in the lab.  He had all the right traits of a great engineer: smart, patient, thorough, honest, and unmatched work ethics.  But above all, he is one of the nicest and kind person I have ever known.  He was always eager to help others even if it meant he will have to work late or the weekends.  We also became good friends throughout the years and shared a lot of stories and laughter.   Trung was also very funny in his subtle ways and I really appreciated his sense of humor.  I will really miss those great conversations and spending time with Trung. He will be missed greatly by all those who have known him.

I was lucky enough to work with Trung for many years.  Beyond being a phenomenal engineer and mentor, he was an absolutely wonderful person.  His patience, knowledge, and demeanor made Trung perfect for mentoring and growing more engineers than I can count.  He made a huge difference in many peoples lives through his brilliance at work, and personally made a difference for me.  I can't tell you how much Trung will be missed, but I know I am not alone in feeling privileged to call Trung my teammate.  

I first met Trung in his previous program at work.  We worked together for a short period of time where he taught me everything I needed to do my job.  He was always patient, kind and selfless in sharing what he knew.  Years later, I met him again in his current project.  He's the same person as I remembered, patient, kind and works well with everybody in the team.  This is a great loss for us and for sure an even bigger loss for the families.  I am grateful to have known him and will cherish the memories of him.  With heartfelt condolences.

Nguyễn Hữu Trung was my best friend and roommate when we were young students in Perugia and Padova, Italy. We shared the good times as well as struggling times after 1975. Trung always had a smiling face, friendly and calm manner, which easily made people like him. It is shock to hear of his passing. So many memories suddenly come back to me. I am lost at words to express my sorrowness. I just want to share a prayer and short poem in Vietnamese for Trung.

Xin thành thật chia buồn cùng gia quyến của Trung. Nguyện cầu cho bạn sớm được vãng sinh, tịnh độ.

Hữu Trung, thôi đã thôi rồi
Nước mây man mác, ngậm ngùi lòng ta
Nhớ từ thuở xa nhà du học
Bạn với tôi chia sẻ ngọt bùi  
Giúp nhau học hỏi xứ người
Mơ ngày về nước mẹ cười cha vui

Trung Nguyen was my co-worker in Boeing 7+ years ago in FAB-T program. i know him at a very hard working man. He was working so hard at 10 pm he still in the lab. Sometime, I wondered was he never leave the lab. He support use a lot when we have problem offsite. he was my go to person when i needed help. I did learned a lot from him work related matter. But one think, I refused to learn is his hard work ethic. :-) 
I was very shock when received this bad news. 
Rest in peace  chu Trung.

TrungNguyen was my friend and co-worker In Boeing, He went to Universita di Padova with me in 70’, I met him in the FAB-T Lab after 35 years, he is a quite, working hard, honest man ,  I was shock when received this bad news . We will miss him

Extremely saddened to hear the news of our beloved coworker and friend, Trung. Trung was one of the nicest and most efficient engineers on our team. I just can't believe he's gone. I'm shocked and saddened.  He was a really great guy and took his work seriously, such a big contribution to the P8 Acoustics team. I wish his family comfort and support.



I will remember Trung as the kindest and most accommodating co-worker I have ever had. What a truly special man. He always had a pleasant greeting and a smile for everyone. He worked so hard that no-one could keep up with him. My fondest memories are of seeing the joy on his face when he spoke about time he spent with his granddaughter. She brought him so much happiness. Trung I will miss you tremendously. My condolences to the family and I pray for peace for all.

Trung was my friend and co-worker.  He was a funny, compassionate,  honest,  true professional and exempli nary person  in many ways.  I will missed our talks and friendship at Boeing.  My condolence to his family and love ones.  Rest in peace my friend.
