MARIBO, Alfonso J., Sr., 72, of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Salvatore and Elizabeth Maribo. He worked for Verizon, NY, NY for 35 years. After his retirement, h e was a School Crossing Guard for the Borough of Westwood. Beloved husband of Judith Maribo. Devoted father of Felicia Brobson and her husband John, and the late Alfonso J. Maribo, Jr. Loving grandfather of Heather Ann, Elizabeth Jean and John Henry, Jr. Dear brother of the late James Maribo and his wife Sylvia; Paul Cohen and his wife Cheryl. Cherished uncle of James and his wife Allison, Michael, Matthew, Lindsay and her husband Ben, Hayley and her husband Jared. Great uncle to Ashley, Nicholas, Kaitlyn and Miller. Beloved friend of The Ponce Family: Carmen and the late Oscar Sr.; Stacy and Willie, Joshua and Rosemary; Oscar and Roseanna; Jason; Janice and Brian, Joseph and Angelina. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Saturday and Sunday, 2-6PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, August 13 at R.C Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ at 10:30AM.
