Alfred C. Butzon

BUTZON, Alfred C, 85, Of Westwood, NJ, formerly of Queens, NY, Dumont and Manahawkin, NJ, passed on February 3rd. Alfred is survived by his daughter Susan Travis and her husband Michael, sister Audrey Fox, grandchildren Kerry Tellez, Michelle Sembler and her husband Vincent, Michael Travis, Krystina Orlando and her husband Peter and Danielle Butzon as well as 7 cherished great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Mary and children Barbara & Charles. Alfred was an accomplished Lithographer, belonging to the Local 1 Union of Amalgamated Lithographers Of America for 44 years. He most recently worked for Tandem Press. He was a proud military veteran who belonged to the Park Ridge American Legion and Westwood Elks. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Friday, February 5th from 3-7pm. A Mass celebrating Alfred’s life in faith will be held at St. Andrew’s RC Church in Westwood on Saturday at 10AM with interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Alfred’s name to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
