Anthony Joseph Assante, 82, of Old Tappan, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025. Beloved husband of Theresa Assante nee Gordon. Devoted father of Linda (Sergio), Theresa (Kealim), Christine, Maria (Chris). Dear brother of Dolly, Sonny, Nancy, Tommy. Loving grandfather of eight grandchildren.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Bay Ridge for 30 years. He was owner of Garfield Farms and Triangle Farms. He served in the Army from 1960 - 1966.
The family will receive their relatives and friends on Wednesday, 12/3, 4pm - 8pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood. A mass celebrating Anthony’s life and faith will be held on Thursday, 12/4 at 10am at Old Tappan St. Pius X. The private interment will follow at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
