Armando Gonzalez, 81, of Emerson, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 18, 2025. Beloved husband of Hilda Gonzalez. Devoted father of Kenneth Gonzalez, James Aguilera, Linda Gonzalez, Anthony Gonzalez, Christine Gonzalez-Lizzi, Amanda Gonzalez-Carcione. Dear brother of Peter Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez, Ruth Leal (deceased). Survived by Kathy Ramos and Carmen Ferran. Loving grandfather of Vinny Gonzalez, Christopher Gonzalez, Dominick Gonzalez, Alex Aguilera, Thomas Aguilera, Nick Aguilera, Jamie Aguilera, Jake Gonzalez, Luke Gonzalez, Greg Ketcham, Paige Lizzi, Zack Lizzi, Shane Carcione, Wes Carcione and great grandfather to Gavin Gonzalez.

Born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, he grew up in Chelsea, NY and lived in Emerson for 54 years. Armando was a Machinist for over 40 years, with the Northeast Container Company. He was a member of Saint Andrews Church.

The family will receive their relatives and friends on Monday June 23, 2025 4pm-8pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ. A Mass celebrating Armando's life and faith will be held on Tuesday June 24, 11:00 am at St. Andrews Church, 120 Washington Avenue Westwood, NJ.
