Audrey M. Schuermann

Audrey M. Schuermann, 89, of the Township of Washington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 20th. Beloved wife of Anton “Bud” M. Schuermann Jr. Devoted mother of Anton Schuermann III, Debra Slusarz her husband Ziggy Slusarz and Ronald Schuermann. Dear sister of Late brothers Leonard Aamodt and Robert Aamodt. Loving Grandmother of Nicole Slusarz, Jennifer Slusarz, Ron Schuermann and Jamie Schuermann. Devoted Great-Grandmother to Cora Lee Osborne. Born in the city of Brooklyn, NY. She later moved to NJ where she met the love of her life Anton “Bud” Schuermann. They recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. They later moved to the Township of Washington where they resided for nearly 40 years. Her greatest pleasure were the many camping trips with friends and family. Audrey worked for the office of Children in Bergen County. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Paramus and participated in the choir. She also was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Golden Seniors Club of the Township.

The family will receive their relatives and friends on Thursday, October 24th between the hours of 4pm and 8pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ. A service will be provided at the funeral home on Friday, October 25th at 10am. The Internment will follow at George Washington Memorial Cemetery on Paramus Road in Paramus, NJ immediately following the service.
