SCIMECA, Bernadine (nee Reynolds), 77, of Norwood, NJ, formerly of River Edge, NJ, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 26, 2014. She was born in New York City to Bernard and Bridget Reynolds. Beloved wife of Raymond Scimeca for 56 years. Devoted mother of Raymond Scimeca, Jr. and his late wife Peggy of New Milford, Maryellen LaFronz and her husband Jim of Old Tappan and Lynda Cloud and her husband Christian of Newton, MA. Dear sister of Patricia Felipe and her husband Tom, and the late Eugene Reynolds. Doting grandmother of Raymond III, Eric, Katie, Emily, Hannah, Kelly, Brett, Dylan and Luke. Bernadine was the loving matriarch of her adoring family. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, September 29 from 3-6PM with a service celebrating her life and faith beginning at 6PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Bernadine’s name to the American Lung Association.
