Claire E. Rossomando

ROSSOMANDO, Claire (nee Kirrane) of Twp. of Washington, NJ, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the age of 74. She was born in New York City to Thomas and Mary Kirrane and raised in Brooklyn, NY, moved to Twp. of Washington, NJ in 1966. Before retiring in 2003, she was a Legal Assistant for The Hertz Corporation in Park Ridge, NJ. In the 1980's, she was active in Twp. of Washington Baseball as President of the Ladies Auxiliary and also managed the Township Recreation Bowling League. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Twp. of Washington, NJ. Devoted mother of Alison, and her husband, Derrell of Twp. of Washington, NJ and son Michael, and his wife Tammy, of Hillsdale, NJ. Cherished grandmother of DJ and Dante Downey and Anthony and Joseph Rossomando. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Sunday, February 21 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Claire's life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, Twp. of Washington, NJ on Monday, February 22 at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
