Donald E. Haupt, 81 of River Vale, NJ passed away on June 24, 2013. Born in Teaneck, he lived in Hackensack, NJ before moving to River Vale 53 years ago. Donald is a US Marine Veteran and co-owner and operator of Ernest Haupt Inc. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Daly and is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Anne (Zinsmeister) Haupt; his son, Donald E. Haupt, Jr. and his wife Kathy; his daughters, Diane E. Harrison and her husband Gary and Darleen E. Haupt and her husband Stephen Clark; his brother, Robert Haupt and his granddaughter, Lindsey Harrison. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Becker Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday 10:30am at the funeral home with the entombment to follow in Hackensack Cemetery.
