Dorothy Mae Culhane passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026 at the age of 92. She was born in 1934 to Mary “Mae” and Benjamin Kelley in Brooklyn, NY. She married her beloved John in 1957, and together they shared 69 wonderful years. She taught her family about faith, kindness, and appreciation.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, John; her four daughters, Kathleen (Edward) Renz, Patricia Davies, Eileen Culhane, Ann (Steven) Hopper; her four grandchildren, Daniel (Lauren) Renz, Sean (Hana) Renz, Amanda Hopper and Thomas Hopper; three great-grandchildren, Theodore, Gracelynn and Emma, her sister-in- law, Elisabeth Kelley, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Kelley.
Visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675, on May 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, 2 Fremont Avenue, Park Ridge, NJ 07656, on May 12, 2026, at 10:00 am.
