Dorothy’s life was filled with laughter. She had a quick wit and a keen sense of humor, always ready with a sarcastic remark that would make anyone laugh, even during life’s toughest moments. She loved a good story, sharing funny anecdotes that brightened the lives of everyone around her. A lover of life, Dorothy knew when to put on her dancing shoes—and sometimes when to kick them off, embracing the moment with her whole heart. Her generosity of spirit was unmatched; she dedicated her life to family and friends. Dorothy had a profound empathy, wanting deeply to love and be loved, and she gave of herself in ways that left lasting impressions.

A devoted member of St. John the Baptist Church in Hillsdale, New Jersey, for over three decades, her faith and community were sources of strength. She found peace and joy on Long Beach Island, where family vacations filled her heart with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories.
