Edward Peter Borella of New York City on May 25, 2022 at the age of 80 passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Edward graduated Rutgers College in 1962 and honorably served in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1968. After his time in the Navy, he worked in advertising in New York City. In the last 46 years Mr. Borella owned and operated Delle Celle, a women's apparel boutique in New York City. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Shelia in 2007 and his son, Jon Paul, in 2017.
He is survived by his cherished granddaughter Casey Rae Borella and his daughter-in-law Penny, his brother, Stephen Borella and his wife Renee, his sister, Carol Borella, his sister-in-law Speedy (Roberta) Jennings and her husband Tommy, as well as his treasured friends, Laurie Ahlrich and Sal Cretella. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends, and will always be remembered as a caring, gentle man.
