Edward Marcinek

MARCINEK, Edward, 73, of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to John and Jennie Marcinek. Beloved husband of 47 years to Patricia Marcinek. Devoted father of Elizabeth Anne Marcinek; and Edward Patrick Marcinek and his wife Carrianne. Dear brother of John Marcinek. Loving grandfather of Maggie Grace and Sam Edward. Before retiring, Ed was Chief Computer Lab Director at Queensborough Community College. He was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, Twp. of Washington, NJ where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of Mother Seton Knights of Columbus Council #5427. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Ed’s life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, 668 Ridgewood Road,Twp. of Washington, NJ on Monday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Ed’s name to Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church.
