“Our beloved Elissavet passed away peacefully at home after bravely battling ovarian cancer for eight years. She was a passionate, intelligent, and exceptionally opinionated woman who valued education deeply. She loved Tolstoy, world history, ancient art, and outer space. Her cooking preceded her, and nothing brought her more joy than reading a good book and sharing a meaningful conversation. She was the best mom, the most loving partner, and the strongest person we will ever know. Mom, whenever we need you, we’ll look for you in the moon. We love you forever.”
