Ermelinda Sasso, of Township of Washington, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2023. Beloved wife of Stefano Sasso. Devoted Mother of Luisa Whalen and her husband Joseph Fiore, and Gabriele Sasso. Loving Grandmother of Isabella and Gianna and Step Grandmother of Joseph, Anthony and Sara. She has two sisters, nieces and nephews in Italy. Born in Ischia, Italy, she lived in Westwood, NJ for 50 years until she moved to Township of Washington in 2021.
A visitation for Ermelinda will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675.
A funeral mass will occur Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Church of the Assumption, 29 Jefferson Avenue, Emerson, NJ 07630. A committal service will occur Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Garden of Memories, Soldier Hill Road, Twp. of Washington, NJ 07676.
