

Francisco M. Marquez, 94, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, in Emerson, NJ surrounded by his family. Francisco lived a remarkable life filled with dedication to his family, career, and passions.
Francisco was married to his beloved wife Juanita for an extraordinary 72 years. Together they raised two children: their son William Monge and his wife Daisy, and their daughter Maritza Pandolfo and her husband John. He was a proud grandfather to Sam (Jennifer), Christopher (Nicole), Jon Paul, John (Devin), Nicholas, Christopher, and Olivia. His legacy continues through his 11 great-grandchildren.
Francisco is predeceased by his brothers Roberto, Oscar, and Luis. He is survived by his sister Nydia and brother Miguel
At the age of 22, Francisco moved from Puerto Rico to the U.S., where he built a life rooted in hard work and love. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. Following his military service, Francisco had a fulfilling career as a mail carrier at Gracie Station in Manhattan, where he workedfor 35 years.
Known to many as Paquin he was a man of many talents and interests, Francisco had a passion for baseball and was an avid Mets fan. He also enjoyed playing the game himself and had a natural gift for math and accounting.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3rd, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Becker Funeral Home in Westwood. A prayer service will take place on Saturday, April 4th, at 9:00 a.m., also at the funeral home.
