Gail De Meola

Gail De Meola, 74, of Westwood, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Beloved wife of Chuck. Devoted mother of Lauren (and her husband, Michael Rogers) and Tracy (and her husband, Steven Landgraber). Dear sister of Diane Saunders and Neil Silvestri. Loving grandmother of Lizzie, Andrew and Charlotte. Born in Paterson, she lived in Hawthorne for 20 years and in Westwood for almost 50 years. Gail was a flight attendant with American Airlines for 5 years. She then had various employments within the Westwood community (Joann Lighting, Zion Lutheran Nursery School, Tyrrell’s Flowers and Gifts) until she retired to help raise her three grandchildren. She was always a dedicated volunteer in the St. Andrew Church community.

The family will receive their relatives and friends on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 2-6pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road,

Westwood. A Mass celebrating Gail’s life and faith will be held on Monday,

March 17th at 10:30am at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 120

Washington Avenue, Westwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 120 Washington Avenue, Westwood and/or St. Andrew Food Pantry.
