She is survived by her two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband of 74 years, Alfred F. Baffa, her sons, Anthony and Alfred, and sisters, Palmira and Aurelia.
Gemma was a parishioner of St Andrews Church in Westwood and attended the 9:00am daily mass faithfully with her husband Al. They enjoyed traveling together and spent more than two decades “snow birding” in Florida.
Gemma worked in the Pascack Valley High School cafeteria for many years and touched the lives of students in her own special way.
She is remembered as a loving, kind, devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Her favorite quote was “Family is Everything”.
