Eugene Ralph McTiernan, Jr., 61 passed away on January 6, 2019 in Charlotte, NC. He was born on May 24, 1957 in Newark, NJ to the late Eugene and Muriel McTiernan. Gene is survived by his wife, Felicia McTiernan of Huntersville, NC; son, Timothy McTiernan of New York City,; daughter, Kelly McTiernan of Huntersville, NC; granddog Scarlett; sister, Gale Farewell and her husband Kevin of Nutley, NJ; nephew, Mark Farewell and family; and niece, Caitlin Farewell and family.
Gene served his country in the U.S. Army and was a proud employee of IBM for 30 years. The family will receive their relatives and guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Saturday, February 9 from 11AM-1:00PM with a service celebrating Gene's life at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gene's honor to the American Heart Association.
