BUCHNER, Gertrude M., 88, of Mahwah, NJ and Twp. of Washington, NJ, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012. Gertrude was born in Germany to Joseph and Anna Filzen. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Buchner. Devoted mother of Joseph Buchner, Barbara Wegert and her husband George, Christine Rife and her husband Bill. Loving grandmother of Christine, Teresa and David. Cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her six sisters and brothers. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge, NJ on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. Memorial gifts may be made in Gertrude’s name to Valley Hospice.
