Gloria DiCocco

She was born in West New York, NJ to Frederick Jenzer and Inez (Fortuna) Jenzer Frey. Gloria is predeceased by her parents, her son-in-law Bill Clare and her beloved husband of 62 years, Sal. Loving mother to Barbara Clare; Christine Hubinger, husband Mark; and Jeffrey DiCocco, wife Barbara. Cherished Grandma to Christopher Clare, wife Amanda; Andrew Clare, wife Kate; Allison King, husband Stephen; Brendan Clare; Beniamino and Alexis DiCocco. Beloved GGMom of Liam, Stevie and Beau King; Kenneth Clare and Aidan Brandt. Gloria is also survived by her brother in law, Bill DiCocco and sister in law, Leonora Ricciardelli.

Gloria was a graduate of Westminster College and worked for the Westwood Regional School System as an elementary classroom teacher, Gifted and Talented Program and Computer Specialist. She retired in 1998 and continued her love of volunteering at Pascack Valley Hospital, Woman's Auxiliary at the hospital, Meals on Wheels, and St. Andrew's Church. She was the Treasurer at the Westwood Senior Fellowship Club besides being a member of the St. Andrew's 50+ Club and the River Vale Senior Friendship Club.

Gloria loved going to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, her beloved NY Giants, and going to see all her grandchildren's activities ie: School plays, wrestling matches, and dance recitals. She treasured having the family come to her house for celebrations, especially Christmas Eve.

The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ from 2-6pm on Sunday, September 17, 2023.The funeral Mass celebrating the life and faith of Gloria will be held at St. Andrew's RC Church, 120 Washington Avenue, Westwood NJ on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 11am. Entombment will follow at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee, NJ.
