

Grace Jean De Bree passed away unexpectedly at Toms River Community Hospital on January 18, 2018. She was born February 14, 1944 in Suffern, NY to the late John G. Sr. and Madeline Vogel De Bree of Upper Saddle River, NJ. She graduated from Upper Saddle River Grammar School where she was a member of the Brownie and Intermediate Girl Scout troops. She graduated from Ramsey High School in 1961 during which time she participated in, as a Senior Girl Scout, a Wider Opportunity In Wyoming. She had been a member of the Ridgewood Singers of Ridgewood, NJ. During her career she worked as an office assistant and held other office positions. She has lived in Upper Saddle River; Airmont, NY; South Portland, ME; Carlstadt, NJ; South Amboy, NJ; and finally Toms River, NJ. She was predeceased by her parents John G., Sr. and Madeline Vogel De Bree, a brother John G. De Bree, Jr. and wife Ellen Fannon De Bree of Pennsylvania and brother-in-law Charles J. Taylor, ME. She is survived by a sister Madelene J. Taylor, Gray, ME; a nieces Cheryl J. Kaiser, Scott Twsp., PA and Tammy De Bree Clark, PA and nephews Mark J Taylor, Hagerstown, MD; Scott, Sean, Todd, and Timothy De Bree of PA.and grandnieces Taylor Ann Kaiser; Jessica Lynn, Valerie Ann and Alissa Christine Taylor in addition to numerous family and friends including longtime friends Doris Bossong and Diane Segara. Private interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ on January 27.
