BELLOTTI, Jim, lovingly known as “Jimmy” by his family and friends, joined his Savior on June 17, 2015. He passed away at home on a sunny morning, surrounded by his family after a heroic fight with cancer. Jimmy worked with his father, Henry, for years in the motor repair business. He was an avid fisherman and often could be seen at the lake in Washington Township, fishing from the shore after work. He took annual vacations to fish in upstate New York, and took great pride in showing all the pictures of fish he had caught. Jim also loved music and singing, first in the Middle School and then at Westwood High School. He also sang with the Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus, Ridgewood for more than 35 years. Jim was a private, quiet man who loved all and relished activities and gatherings with his extended family. He enjoyed watching baseball and football on TV and working with his computer and iPad. Jimmy worshipped with his family at Our Lady of Good Counsel and knew that he was crossing into eternity to be in a better place. He is survived by his loving parents, Henry and Jean Bellotti; aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Sunday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday at 9:00 am. A mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim’s memory to the Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus Scholarship Fund, Orpheus Club, Inc., P.O. Box #114, Ridgewood, NJ 07451.
