

On February 11, 2025 Jennie Marie Leone (nee Palumbo) passed away peacefully and reunited with the love of her life, her beloved husband, Adolph. Jennie was born on February 12, 1925, in Union City and resided throughout her life in Union City, North Bergen, Ridgefield, Upper Saddle River and Toms River. Jennie was the second of nine children of Louisa and Michael Palumbo and was the longest living member of her family at 100 years old. Jennie married Adolph Leone in June 1945 and they were happily married for 73 years and together had four children. She worked with her husband and sons in their manufacturing companies as the administrative assistant and bookkeeper. Her love and devotion to her family will always be remembered. She was a wonderful Italian cook, who enjoyed hosting Sunday dinners with her family as well as interior decorating. She was a treasured daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Jennie was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Adolph, and son, Ronald as well as sisters and brothers and in-laws. She is survived by her brother Joseph Palumbo, her son, Robert Leone and his wife, Deborah, daughters, Maryann Wejnert and Gina Kloeppel and her husband Andrew, her four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Sunday from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew’s RC Church, Westwood on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
