

BRADSHAW, Josephine, 99, of Jackson, NJ passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018. Josephine was born August 21, 1919 in Westwood, NJ, later settling in Hillsdale, NJ. Her career included administrative roles working for the Museum of Science & Industry in Rockefeller Center, Army Emergency Relief, the British American Ambulance Corps and the engineering firm of Gibbs and Hill. She married her late husband Robert on January 12, 1947. She became a full time homemaker and raised 4 daughters. Once her daughters were older, Josephine worked as an assistant in a Hillsdale accounting firm. Josephine was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church. She served on the Collections Counter Committee and was a member of the Rosary Society. She devoted many years supporting the needs of the church to include laundering the altar linens and communion cloths. Josephine also served for over 40 years as Secretary for the Hillsdale Volunteer Ambulance Corps and volunteered at Pascack Valley Hospital sorting and delivering mail to staff and patients. Josephine is survived by her daughters Angela Corbin, Maryanne (and her husband Neil Lyman), Joanne (and her husband Rodney Willis) and Elizabeth (and her husband Kevin Bloodgood); 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Bradshaw and son-in-law Terry Corbin. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, October 10 from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ on Thursday, October 11 at 10AM with interment at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ to follow.
