SVEC, Josephine, F., (nee Melber), on Monday, January 25, 2016, of Westwood. Beloved wife of 60 years to Arthur, Sr. Devoted mother of Kenneth. Dear sister of the late Thomas Balunis, Sr. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews. Born in Hackensack, she was a resident of Westwood for many years. Josephine was an administrative clerk for NJ Bell / Verizon, Jersey City for 27 years, retiring in 1995. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew’s RC Church, Westwood, a member of the American SOKOL, Little Ferry, the Pioneer Club and a Cub Scout Den Mother, Westwood. Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Wednesday 4-8 pm. A funeral mass will be said at St. Andrew’s RC Church on Thursday at 10:30 am, followed by entombment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
