

CARRATURA, Karen A., 66, of Westwood, NJ, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013. Born in Teaneck, NJ to John and Rose Pinkham. Karen recently retired from the Westwood Public Library where she served as office manager and staffer, working with some of her dearest friends for over 11 years. She initiated and helped coordinate over 15 “Second Avenue” block parties – she cherished getting together with great friends from the neighborhood. She was the founder of the King’s Ambassadors Children’s Puppet Ministry at Pascack Bible Church which she helped lead over 16 years - she had a real heart for children and young adults. She was a godly woman deeply devoted and committed to her family, church and community. Cherished wife of Alfonse Carratura; beloved mother of Max and his wife Karin, Jesse, Ian, Seth, and Ben and his wife Catalina Tocasuchil; loving grandmother of Cash, Beck, and Grayson; and dear sister of Patricia Wilson and John Pinkham. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday 2-6pm at the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd. Westwood, NJ www.becker-funeralhome.com. A funeral service will be held on Monday 10:30am at Pascack Bible Church, Hillsdale, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to Pascack Bible Church to be used for Children’s Ministries.
