Louise Gregory

Louise Gregory, 94, of Emerson, NJ, passed away peacefully at 1:53 PM, Saturday, March 28, 2020, due to the Covid-19. She was being treated at the Hackensack University Medical Center at Pascack Valley in Westwood, NJ and sadly, because of the virus, her family could not be at her side.

Louise was born August 17, 1925 in Totowa, NJ, to the late Dominick and Rachel Scine. She was married to her husband Constandino "Bucky" Gregory for 43 years, before preceding her in death in 1991.

Louise is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Regino and her husband Frank, of Westwood and her son Peter Gregory and his wife Karen, of Emerson; her grandchildren, Nicole and her husband Paul, Jennifer and her husband Pete, Michele and her husband John, David and his wife Nicole, Joseph and his wife Lauren, John and his wife Nicole; and her great-grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, Lucia, Paulie, Anthony, Ryan, John, Kaley, Colin, Gracie, Matthew, Mason and Ella. Louise is also survived by her sisters Marion and Lorraine, and predeceased by her brothers Pat and Victor.

Most recently, Louise worked as a cashier in Marshalls of Maywood for over 20 years retiring only 4 years ago at the age of 90. Prior to Marshalls and at a younger age, she worked at the East Paterson High School cafeteria, and then Woolworth’s Department store. Her greatest love was to be around her family whenever possible.

The immediate family had a private graveside service at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. A memorial service for her family and friends will be held later in the year when it is safer to gather.
