Mary "Maura" C. Enright

Born on June 4, 1937 in County Armagh, Ireland. Maura was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful parishioner of the Church of the Assumption in Emerson. Her deep faith and joyful spirit were evident in all aspects of her life. She loved to sing and dance, and she brought warmth and energy to every gathering. Whether enjoying a lively party or spending quiet time with her family, Maura cherished the moments that brought people together.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Patrick Enright; her children: James Enright and his wife Ana, Mary Romano and her husband Christopher, Caroline Lederer and her husband John, and Kevin Enright and his wife Carola. Maura was a proud grandmother to Melissa, Michelle, Patrick, Julia, Owen, Kevin, Brian, and Sean. Adoring great-grandmother to Brandon and Aria. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and family members. She also leaves behind her siblings Bridget, Kevin, Malachy, and Gabrielle. She was predeceased by her siblings Peter, Ferdinand, and Theresa.

Maura found great joy in participating in activities with the Emerson Seniors and remained an active member of her parish community throughout her life.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption, 29 Jefferson Avenue, Emerson, NJ. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah, NJ.

Mary’s legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those she touched.
