Paolina Pesco

Paolina was born in Sciara, Sicily in 1933 and was a 51-year resident of Washington Township. In 1953, at the age of 20, she married her beloved husband Larry and immigrated to the United States. They were married for 72 years when he passed way in November of 2022 at the age of 98. They shared a wonderful life surrounded by family and friends. Paolina is survived by her son Anthony her daughter in law Lisa and her Grandchildren Andrew (fiancé Bina) and Jessica (husband Evan).

There is only one way to describe Paolina, she was pure love and goodness and a bundle of never-ending energy. There was not a person who knew her that didn’t love her. She was kind, generous and thoughtful, always putting others before herself. She loved cooking and baking mostly for her family but also for anyone who happened to be at her table. For her, food was her language for showing her love which she had in abundance. She was one of those people that really brought light to this world.

She will be forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, located at 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675, on December 30, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 120 Washington Ave, Westwood, NJ 07675, on December 30, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm.
