He was surrounded by his wife, children, nephew and grandchildren at the time of his passing. Bob grew up in River Vale, and it was there that he and Barbara, his beloved wife of 55 years, built a warm and loving home for their family.
Bob was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Bogart (Duffy), his younger brother, Richard Bogart who resides in North Carolina, his children Jason and Jennifer (Greg) and his beloved grandchildren; Madison, Samantha, Mackenzie, Alex and Ashleigh.
Bob went to school at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He received his BA in chemistry and spent his career on the research and development side of several consumer product companies.
Bob found joy in simple pleasures as long as it included his family. He was a real outdoorsman that loved to fish, camp and hunt with his son and grandson. He was most happy boating, fishing, tubing and jumping off the dock with his grandkids at his Cabin in Lake George, NY. In the winter season, he spent weekends up at his son's cabin in the Catskill mountains.
